Successful repatriation of citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic
Umbrella Holiday provided emergency transportation for the repatriation of citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Umbrella Travel offered extraordinary bus connections for citizens who, due to measures against the spread of the new coronavirus, could not travel back to the Czech Republic from various European countries. We are proud that we were able to help hundreds of people return home during this difficult time.
Special transport between Prague, Bratislava, and the United Kingdom
We provided transportation from Prague and Bratislava to London and Manchester and back. Our clients could travel in luxury Mercedes V-Class minivans for up to 6 people or in a Mercedes Sprinter for up to 15 people. The service also included additional benefits such as morning coffee and dinner or breakfast on the ferry.
Regular route
We operated regular departures from Prague to London and Manchester on fixed dates. Return journeys from Manchester to Prague ran at regular intervals, with some of these connections continuing on to Bratislava.
Individual transport
For those who did not find the offered dates and routes suitable, we arranged individual transport. Clients could book private minivans or cars according to their needs under very favorable conditions.
Safety and measures
The safety of our passengers was always our top priority. All our vehicles were equipped with hand sanitizers, and passengers were required to wear a mask, respirator, or cover their mouth and nose with a scarf or shawl for the entire journey. We also limited the number of pieces of luggage to one per person, with the option of transporting an additional one.
